Polish - Swiss Forum for Health Dialogue

Fostering R&D for innovative new treatments – Bridging the gap between scientists and entrepreneurs.
June 22, 2021, 9:00 - 12:30

Poland is strong in the production of pharmaceuticals and in late-stage clinical trials. Some of its researchers have made promising discoveries, but taking their discoveries to market has proven to be much more difficult. What could Poland do to bridge the gap between academia and the private sector? How can Poland strengthen its research and development (R&D) and startup ecosystem in pharma and life sciences?

In this 11th edition of the Polish-Swiss Forum for Health Dialogue, the Embassy of Switzerland and the Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce invite researchers, policy-makers, entrepreneurs and industry experts to discuss what the two countries can learn from each other about how to create an environment conducive to successful R&D and investment in the pharma and life sciences sector.
